Winery Review (Grand Cru): aromas of raspberry, plum, cherry, and a hint of vanilla. Soft and velvety finish.
My Review: On the nose, it smells like a condemned building (courtesy of Sam Isaacs). The dark cherry and plum aromas were definitely noticeable as well. On the palate, the main fruit I noticed was the dark cherry, however what dominated this wine's taste was a smoothness all the way through the tasting until the end, when it finished off pretty dry. Overall, I enjoyed this balanced wine.
