VC Tasting: Prima Brume Garganega 2014

Prima Brume
Garganega
2014
 $11
Soave, Italy

Wine Review (J&D Selections): The color is a brilliant straw yellow with a fresh fruit aroma, especially apple and pear, and floral notes such as elder and bloom. The taste is very fresh and light, with a very interesting acidity. There is an important presence of mineral salts.

My Review: This wine's nose was dominantly fruity, especially with the mango and pear aromas. However, once I tasted it I did not detect any fruit's at all. In fact, I really didn't sense any flavors. However, it was smooth with no acidity, which made it somewhat drinkable to me. Overall, I was not a fan of this wine.
